Richardsons monumental masons are an established family-run local business. We have been providing fine quality memorials from our premises in Stockport and Hadfield near Glossop, Derbyshire since 1923. Now a third-generation run company, Peter Richardson continues our long tradition of craftsmanship, service and value.

We provide all styles and types of headstones - both timeless and modern - in a vast array of designs and materials such as granite, marble, stone and slate. Many colours are available ensuring we can provide headstones, gravestones and cremation stones to your exact requirements.

Located in Glossop, Derbyshire, we are just minutes away from the M67 motorway with easy access to Tameside, Manchester, Cheshire, the North West, the Midlands and beyond.

Richardsons also specialise in the cleaning, repair and renovation of all types of memorial stones. This work is carried out to the highest standards of workmanship as we are members of BRAMM - the British Register of Accredited Memorial Masons.

This accreditation allows us to fix headstones in any cemetery, churchyard or graveyard. The highest standards of health and safety are assured.

We can also re-letter, re-gild or re-silver the inscriptions on headstones and add additional lettering to memorials as required.
